Junior Groovers Head To Toe Information
To ensure that you are fully prepared for this year’s Concert performance, below is a list of everything you will need to provide for your dancer for our Photo/Dress Rehearsal Day on Saturday 6th December which is held at our BAD studio & for the concert day on Saturday 13th December, held at BMEC.
Any shoes and stockings listed below can be order from reception- please see Miss Mikaela to organise this.
Here is A few tips to ensure you are fully prepared!
Check next to your dancers class to ensure you have the correct coloured stockings. These must be clean and have no holes
If your dancer requires tan jazz shoes it is easiest to swap these out for elastic allowing the shoe to slide on and off. Soak the white elastic in a cup of black tea, thread the elastic into the shoe and tie off in a knotPlease note: This only applies to students who have a Jazz class and require Jazz shoes- this does not apply to any other dance shoes
What NOT to wear:
- Nail polish
- Fake Tattoo's
- Earnings
- Underwear, the first thing on your dancers body should be their stockings
Check next to your dancers class to ensure you have the correct coloured & style shoes. These must be clean and have no holes
All students must have their hair pulled back into a slick high ponytail with a plait. Please ensure you use gel or hair spray to ensure your dancers hair is neat. Please ensure you use clear or matching hair elastics to the hair

Please note: If your dancer is in one of the ballet classes, please ensure you pack pins and a hair net

Primary & Grade 1 Ballet only
Tan convertible stockings have a hole in the bottom on the foot to then roll up under the knee- available from reception
Finale:
All students will perform in the finale at the conclusion of the concert. They will perform in their last costume
